March 8, 2007 - Colemont Finland Oy has extended its operations by acquiring 100% of Insurance Brokers Risto Sihvola.

This acquisition will position Colemont Finland Oy as one of the top three insurance brokers in Finland. Insurance Brokers Risto Sihvola Oy will continue to operate as an independent company after the acquisition. Risto Sihvola continues as the managing director of the company.

“The acquisition strengthens our position both on the local and international insurance markets, and creates the possibility to extend our operations as well as create more jobs”, says Risto Sihvola. According to Sihvola, the demand for international insurances will increase rapidly in Finland over the next few years. “The deal opens up connections both West and East. We will be able to offer our customers local, professional personnel with international know-how.”
